Shopping Centers
Once completed in 2014 the Leadenhall Building, referred to as the Cheese Grater, will be 225 metres tall and the main London headquarters for Aon. MAL Ltd have been contracted to provide the setting out for the external cladding and provide onsite as-built surveys to help achieve this new build.
Westfield Stratford
Stratford City is the second of two Westfield shopping centre developments in London being built. It ran alongside with the London olympic site built for 2012 as part of a huge redevelopment plan for the Stratford area. MAL Ltd were involved with a number of different clients to help create several different parts of the complex.
One New Change
One New Change was a large project in which MAL Ltd are involved from start to finish in many different apspects and with many different clients. From completeing site control plumbing and measuring datums to set-out, topographical surveys, QA checks and 3D Scanning. MAL Ltd were undertaking works internally and externally for this highly complex building, throwing up different challenges to provide an all round high quality and stylish project. A number of engineering teams were provided to complete the project successfully.
Liverpool One
The Paradise Project in Liverpool is one of the largest city centre redevelopment projects in Europe, managed by Laing O Rourke. GIG Fassadenbau obtained the external cladding contract for two buildings Plot 12 and 15, Mal Ltd Subsequently obtained both contracts to complete all dimensional control for GIG. This included main control, setting out, datum control and topographical surveys. Plot 12 consisted of 17 floors, one elevation curved used as a hotel and Plot 15 consisted of 5 floors, including a glass shop front covering 3 levels and a glass roof for Debenhams.
