When architects are requiring structural steelworks to be placed as final finish and glass facades to fit to structural steel, MAL Ltd has become specialist in the setting-out of complex steel structures and glass facades in high profile buildings. All equipment used is calibrated on a regular basis to ensure that all set-out provided is to the highest accuacy and thereby ensuring that the all features of the structure to be installed fit to the correct specification.

MAL Ltd also use GPS surveying techniques when coordinate systems need to be establised for localised buildings. Against traditional techniques, GPS technology increases the productivity, reduces data collection time and requires less labour as no line of sight is required, as co ordinate systems can be collected via satellite rather than transferring from ground positions. This is now cost effective as new technology available to us via the TPS1200 series with the satellite receiver connected directly to the instrument allowing points to be transferred into areas where there is no satellite coverage.
